Its a new start.
Codleague was formed in 2005 by a group of like minded gamers that wanted to provide the community with a place to compete competitively with the aim of having fun. Thanks to the hard work of its founders and patrons Codleague has thrived in the call of duty community.
Over recent years the creators and publishers of our beloved game have made our job increasingly difficult. The lack of dedicated servers, appropriate anti cheat tools, the ability to create mods for competitive play and the increasing catalogue of new and innovating titles have forced some of our community members to move on to other games we do not support.
For this reason we do not have the community we once had and appreciated, this has led us to question whether its viable to run codleague as an exclusive call of duty league. Codleague and its sponsor have agreed we need to be more flexible to support an evolving community's needs and this has led us to the decision that Codleague must move forward with an outlook to support new and exciting games.
From the 30th of November 2012 Codleague will cease to exist in its current form. Codleague will be rebranded and relaunched under the new name Gaming Deluxe League., www.gdleague.co.uk and the Codleague domain will then forward to GDLeague.
The new league will continue to run with our sponsor Gaming Deluxe but with a primary focus on multi gaming.
The decision has been made to completely re-brand the league and start a fresh. This means clans will have to re register their teams and re enter there guids. The new league will feature a new forum, be able to handle a larger community and provide features missing from its current incarnation.
We would like to thank every one involved and we hope to see every one on the new site.
